Presentation

Managed by Orient XXI and co-financed by CFI and the AFD (French Development Agency), this project encourages the development of independent news sites in the Arab world. It is helping to consolidate a media network, through the publication of common investigations (economic journalism, journalism and migration, journalism and Arab languages, etc.) and secondments between the teams to promote the sharing of skills.

The Mediterranean Independent Media project is structured based on trainer training, design support sessions and the performance of training in the field, together with meetings that make it possible to create synergies between the media professionals of projects managed by CFI and the editors-in-chief of the media operators benefiting from the project.
