Raising awareness about One Health among population and policy makers

Des médias, une santéA Look Back at CFI’s journey with Southeast Asia’s Journalists and the One Health Approach.
Different Perspectives
As the Media for One Health project wraps up, we’re heading out to meet journalists supported by CFI in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and the Philippines. Two years of collaboration have helped these journalists master the ins and outs of the One Health approach and use it to tackle strategic medical and environmental issues in their countries.
This approach is increasingly embraced by scientists to decode, explain, and make sense of the complex health and environmental challenges — and their impacts — for the public. Yet, before the project launched, it was barely known among communities and journalists.
A partnership oriented towards impact
CFI’s partnership with 18 media outlets across Southeast Asia has trained around fifty journalists in this approach, enabling them to better inform their audiences, society, and policymakers on health and environmental matters.
Thanks to CFI’s support, more than 150 reliable and engaging contents have been produced using the One Health approach—boosting their impact on public policy.
