“Interactivity” training cycle in Burkina Faso and Mali: assessment in figures

MediaSahelThe main expectation of those participating in the interactivity training, which took place from 15 February to 3 April 2021 in Burkina Faso and Mali, was that they would acquire the knowledge required in order to prepare and host interactive broadcasts.
Professionals from MediaSahel’s 49 partner radio stations in these two countries were provided with the tools to produce reliable, interactive, appealing and digital content and, above all, to promote the participation of young people in the public debate, in various ways, including via social media.

At the end of the 6 sessions, 144 people had received training, of which 27 were female hosts, 69 were males hosts and 48 were technicians.
“I didn’t know how to organise the information in my introduction. Instead, I let the listeners talk about the topic to be discussed, without always being able to counter them where necessary. I am now able to draw up a summary and prepare my programmes better. The knowledge I have gained will help me to structure them”.

In the end, 100% of the participants stated that they were satisfied with what they had learned and were ready to put this new knowledge into practice.
