Four winners among Intajat Jadida's first-year talent

Three of the four award-winning pilots address issues connected to women and female empowerment, while the fourth focuses on Libya's musical heritage.

Oumayma Ajarrai (Morocco), independent content creator and co-founder of the 9addat podcast, for her pilot which provides women with guidance on public speaking.

Panel favourite award

Jezia Nouma (Tunisia), independent content creator and founder of Lella Media, for her pilot which profiles a young female horse rider — a profession that women rarely take up. Broadcast on the channel's social media accounts.

Mostafa Bubark (Libya), independent content creator, for his pilot which focuses on the disappearance of "Tindy" — a traditional musical genre with female singers. Scheduled for broadcast on a Libyan television channel.
