Four winners among Intajat Jadida's first-year talent

On 12 June 2023, in Tunis, the judging panel rewarded the four best educultural content pilots created under the Intajat Jadida project.

Three of the four award-winning pilots address issues connected to women and female empowerment, while the fourth focuses on Libya's musical heritage.

Best pilot award

Special panel award

oa3Oumayma Ajarrai (Morocco), independent content creator and co-founder of the 9addat podcast, for her pilot which provides women with guidance on public speaking.

Panel favourite award

jnJezia Nouma (Tunisia), independent content creator and founder of Lella Media, for her pilot which profiles a young female horse rider — a profession that women rarely take up. Broadcast on the channel's social media accounts.

mbMostafa Bubark (Libya), independent content creator, for his pilot which focuses on the disappearance of "Tindy" — a traditional musical genre with female singers. Scheduled for broadcast on a Libyan television channel.

Three experts sat on the panel: Mélody Locard, journalist and Head of Video at magazine l’OBS magazine (France), Nizar Rebiai, journalist and producer (Tunisia), and Youssef Ziraoui, Managing Director of the Jawjab platform (Morocco) https://www.jawjab.ma/, the leading collaborative space for online content creators in North Africa.
