CFI is looking for a Jordanian media training expert

CFI is looking for a Jordanian media training expert for a service contract as part of the European Union-funded project Support to Democratic Reforms in Jordan.

As part of this initiative, CFI is organising a four-day training workshop in Amman, Jordan, for approximately 15 journalists, focusing on incorporating gender and disability perspectives into election coverage. The training aims to strengthen journalists' ability to report on electoral processes in an inclusive, balanced and responsible manner, with particular attention to the representation of women and persons with disabilities. It will combine theoretical content, practical exercises and case studies to equip participants with the skills and tools needed to integrate these perspectives into their reporting.

This activity contributes to the broader goals of the project, which seeks to promote a more inclusive and participatory democratic process in Jordan by strengthening the role of the media in supporting informed civic engagement.

The selected trainer will be responsible for conducting the four-day workshop, preparing training materials and a bilingual agenda (Arabic and English), and submitting a final report on the training outcomes. The contract covers five working days, including four days of training delivery and one day dedicated to preparation and reporting.
