Presentation

The Support to Democratic Reform in Jordan project continues the work of the EU programme to support Jordanian Democratic Institutions & Development (EU-JDID).

This EU-funded project operated by Expertise France in partnership with CFI, NIMD and WFD aims to promote a more inclusive, responsible democratic process with greater citizen participation. The project thus aims to build capacity and possibilities to empower women and young children to participate effectively in politics and civic life and reinforce and support democratic institutions, thus empowering them to fully play their respective roles.

For this project, CFI will ensure that media outlets play a key role in the coverage of elections and the promotion of citizen participation, especially that of women and young people, and promote citizen reporting and the production of civic content tied in with the elections and empower the participation of women and young people.
