CFI is looking for an Arabic-speaking media training expert for a service contract as part of the European Union-funded project Support to Democratic Reforms in Jordan
As part of this initiative, CFI is organising a four-day training workshop in November 2026 for approximately 15 journalists in Amman, Jordan, focusing on fact-checking and misinformation during election coverage.
The training aims to strengthen journalists' ability to identify, verify and counter misinformation, particularly in the context of the growing use of artificial intelligence. It will combine theoretical content, practical exercises and case studies to equip participants with tools and techniques for accurate and responsible election reporting.
This activity contributes to the broader goals of the project, which seeks to promote a more inclusive and participatory democratic process in Jordan by strengthening the role of the media in supporting informed civic engagement.
The selected trainer will be responsible for conducting the workshop, providing training materials and a bilingual agenda (Arabic and English), and submitting a final report on the training outcomes.
