Training on digital media for mid-career journalists in Jordan: call for applications

Follow a 5 days training module to boost your digital journalism skills.

Selection of participants

The objective of this call for application is to select 150 mid-career journalists in Jordan to attend trainings on digital journalism. Specific topics on data journalism, cross media information, collection and verification of digital information and cyber protection will be proposed through four training sessions, between February and March 2017.

Each session is composed of 2 modules:
- First module (5 days):
Topic #1 – Data journalism. information processing and visualization
Topic #2 – Crossmedia information. Multimedia production and interactive content
- Second module (5 days):
Topic #3 – Collection and verification of digital information. Internet and social networks as journalistic tools
Topic #4 – Cyber protection

Candidates may choose modules they would like to attend when filling the online form. Applications will be considered on the basis of availabilities for each module.
