Putting the Maghreb’s colleges of journalism to the test

CFI has just launched a study with a number of Moroccan and Tunisian media organisations, asking them about their expectations in the following terms: What do you expect today of a higher college of journalism?

In a few months, the results of this investigation will be presented to the two higher colleges of journalism, ISIC in Morocco and IPSI in Tunisia, that CFI is assisting as part of Shabab up!

The results will help them tailor their courses more closely to the media's requirements, in particular by developing multimedia journalism.

Initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development and implemented by CFI, the Shabab up! project involves, in addition to these two colleges, 7 radio stations from Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia.
It aims to promote the involvement of young people in the public life of their countries via the use of the media, and to contribute to fostering professionalism among journalism students and young professionals in radio.
