#PAGOF: registration open for the Tunis regional seminar

Do you work for a CSO or a government in French-speaking Africa involved in issues such as accountability, transparency in public finance, open governance, the fight against corruption or the co-construction of public policy? You can now pre-register for the #PAGOF regional seminar to be held in Tunis on 22 and 23 November.

To do so, please:

As the number of places is limited, applications will be selected based on the information provided in the pre-registration form. You will be notified by email if you are selected.

The seminar has three objectives

  • to promote and share at a regional level the good practices and successful experiences of open government in countries that are already members of the OGP and benefit from #PAGOF (Tunisia, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire), with the target being countries wishing to join;
  • to create a dynamic and a knock-on effect designed to draw other French-speaking African countries towards the OGP, in particular by supporting them to fulfil the criteria for membership of the OGP;
  • to share open government tools in French that may be usefully supplemented and replicated in all countries.

The event is being held as part of #PAGOF (Project in Support of Open Governments in French-Speaking Africa), a project jointly implemented by CFI and Expertise France with funding from the French Development Agency (AFD).
