Investigative journalists invited to the ARIJ forum by CFI

Nine journalists, selected by CFI, participated in the ARIJ (Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism) forum in Amman, (Jordan), on 23 and 24 November 2019, for training and discussions with colleagues.

This year, the 12th ARIJ Forum was devoted to Media in a Radicalised World. Many different topics were covered: fact checking, collaborative networks, podcasts, online harassment of female journalists, etc.

CFI had invited ten journalists to attend the forum. Nine were present: five women and four men, from six different territories: Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Lebanon and Palestine.

For some of them, it was their first time, for others, their eighth. They discussed their areas of interest in terms of investigations.

In 2020, CFI will again send ten investigative journalists to the annual ARIJ forum.
