Qudra 2Empowering journalists to tell the stories of Refugees. CFI organized a workshop in Lebanon on "Digital Storytelling About Refugees" in partnership with Al Jazeera Media Institute from 23-27 January 2023.
The 5-day workshop brought together 15 journalists from Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine to deepen their understanding of refugee issues and enhance their storytelling skills. The trainer, Montaser Marai, provided a comprehensive overview of the topic and covered topics such as journalistic writing techniques, digital storytelling, and photojournalism.
On the last day of the workshop, the participants put their newfound knowledge into practice and produced their own refugee stories through photographic shooting and documentation etc.
