Bringing solutions on health to the authorities and the population

“Media for One Health”: A Project to Shift Perspectives on Health and Environmental Issues.

The Media for One Health project boosted the capacities of 18 media outlets across Southeast Asia (Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and the Philippines) to produce and share information about the One Health approach from 2024 to 2025.
The goal? To help them deliver reliable information and take the lead in preventing emerging diseases, health risks, and environmental challenges.

To make this happen, CFI provided training and encouraged collaboration between journalists, scientists, policymakers, and civil society in each targeted country. Another key action was supporting the creation of reliable and engaging content using the One Health approach—addressing these challenges at local, national, and international levels.

We asked some of the journalists who worked with CFI to share their thoughts on the project’s outcomes. One of their main goals?
To inform better and spark real change on the ground.
