"I had known the actions of CFI for a few months. I regularly visit the website and I admire their commitment to a free and independent press all over the world. While visiting the site, I came across the Medialab Campus project. I had just found an internship at Radio Medi 1 in Tangier but I was having trouble financing my trip. The Medialab Campus fellowship allowed me to make this trip without worrying about my finances. This is my first professional experience abroad. I have been waiting for this opportunity for years!
Medi 1 is a private radio channel created on December 1st 2016. It transmits from Tangier. It is oriented towards the Maghreb and Africa. It broadcasts in French and Arabic. Its bilingual aspect and its international dimension made me want to work in this radio. I also appreciate its programs' diversity. Medi 1 offers full news bulletins every two hours and informative flashes hourly. The channel also offers a long format like Bain de culture, a cultural program broadcast weekly."
