Generation What? Arabic arrive dans 8 pays de Méditerranée du Sud
Generation What? is a multimedia programme that specifically targets young people aged between 18 and 34, in order to paint an overall portrait of their generation.
Thanks to the financial support provided by the European Union, Generation What? - Arabic will be placing young people in eight Southern Mediterranean countries at the very heart of public debate for the next six months.
The eight countries taking part in the project, assisted by seven local broadcasters, are: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia.
Each country has its own section on the website: arab.generation-what.org.
Young people can log on to this website and answer a questionnaire, consisting of 167 questions specially adapted to the local cultural and political landscapes.
This questionnaire, which has been compiled with the help of sociologists, tackles a range of fundamental issues, such as the relationships that young people have with their families, society, work, love, their national and cultural identity, the future, their transition into adulthood, and many more.
A database of the answers is updated in real time, which means that users will instantly be able to compare their answers with those given by other young people in their country.
