Coverage of Vulnerable Communities During the COVID19 Pandemic

Press and media coverage of the impact of the Corona pandemic on vulnerable communities.

A two day online workshop was organized on 16-17 August by CFI Media Development under the title: Press and media coverage of the impact of the Corona pandemic on vulnerable communities, for Syrian and Jordanian journalists. The workshop was facilitated by Fadi AlQadi, an expert in Human Rights and Media, and focused on the definition of vulnerable communities and the ethical aspects of media coverage within those communities.

The workshop was organized within the framework of the Qudra 2 program, a regional action co-financed by the EU Regional Trust Fund in Response to the Syrian Crisis, the EU Madad Fund, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID).

 


The workshop was presented by Fadi AlQadi. 
An expert in Human rights and Media with the participation of several Syrians and Jordanians Journalists.

The workshop focuses on the definition of vulnerable communities and the ethical aspects of media covering within those communities.
