Presentation

In October 2024, CFI launched a self-funded pilot project to support two independent media initiatives, Sabra (in Hebrew) and +972 Magazine (in English), run by Israeli journalists (Arabs and Jews) based in Haifa.

Promoting better representation of Palestinians in Israeli media and society, these media outlets are pushing back against hate speech and disinformation in Israel, in the Palestinian Territories and throughout the English-speaking world. CFI thus aims to support the creation of an arena for dialogue in Israeli society by facilitating access to well-balanced , top-quality news reports in both Hebrew and English.
